OUT OF THE BLUE
ARTIST TALK: OCTOBER 10: 3 - 5 pm
Patricia Clarke Studio 410 Palm Avenue A 18 Carpinteria
“The phrase “out of the blue” means without warning, completely unexpectedly. It is from a bolt out of, also from, the blue, denoting
a sudden and unexpected event, a complete surprise, with reference to the unlikelihood of a thunderbolt coming from a clear blue sky.”
The pre-dawn morning and late night light during this past winter and spring transform the landscapes and skyscapes you see here.
For me these photographs serve as a reminder that even in some of life’s darkest moments, there is always light and beauty to be found.
